Arunachali girl shines in exam 

ITANAGAR, May 23: One Kumari Duyu Asung, an Arunachalee student studying in St George’s School, Nongmensong in Shillong has topped the MBOSE SSLC Examination-2017, the results of which were announced on Tuesday.

Daughter of Duyu Kobing and Duyu Yaja Asung, Asung who originally hails from Lower Subansiri scored 95 percent and distinction in all her subjects. To add more, Asung scored a full 100 marks in Mathematics and Health Education.

A total of 52000 students had appeared in the examination this year.
