NEW DELHI, Jun 02: Arunachalee climber Anshu Jamsenpa who scripted history by scaling Mt Everest twice within five days, called on chief minister Pema Khandu here on Friday.
Khandu, in his interaction congratulated Anshu for her rare feat that she achieved in the field of mountaineering sports.
“You have brought a good name to our state and made it popular worldwide. The feat you have achieved is unmatchable,” he said.
The chief minister further offered to extend all possible help from the state government to promote mountaineers of the state.
Anshu was accompanied by her husband and president of All Arunachal Pradesh Mountaineering and Adventure Sports Association, Tsering Wangey and editor of a national Hindi daily, D K Chauhan.
