Couldn’t imagine myself playing Dawood Ibrahim: Siddhanth

Mumbai, May 15: Actor Siddhanth Kapoor says when filmmaker Apoorva Lakhia first approached him to essay the role of Dawood Ibrahim in “Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai”, he couldn’t see himself playing the fugitive don.
Siddhanth’s real life sibling and actress Shraddha Kapoor is playing the gangster’s late sister Haseena Parkar in the film.
“I couldn’t believe he (Apoorva) wanted me to play the part because I could not imagine playing someone like Dawood Ibrahim. Apoorva told me he has the trust that performance wise I will do it, but wanted me to convince him that I look that part,” the actor told PTI.
