ITANAGAR, May 27: Children of the state capital now have much to rejoice about with the inauguration of a gaming arcade by Parliamentary Secretary for Urban Development Techi Kaso on Saturday.
The gaming arcade is on the ground floor of Reliance Trends shopping mall here.
Inaugurating the arcade, Kaso appreciated the efforts of the proprietor for creating a space for the children as well as the youth, who due to absence of recreational activities and venues get bored during their vacations and weekends.
Pointing out that such recreational centres are much needed in Itanagar so as to divert the youths from indulging in anti-social activities, Kaso called upon the youngsters to get themselves engaged in healthy and stimulating activities.
Proprietor Likha Taja said the main objective of such a play zone was not to earn money but to provide children a safe and clean indoor environment to play and enjoy themselves.
Especially designed for children and adult of all ages, Arcade Gaming Centre will offer various modern amenities in gaming such as X-ball and Key Master, virtual reality experience, 10 Dr VR (shooting and arcade) mode, etc.
Apart from this, there are shooting games, popular car games and various other exciting recreational activities that would enhance the physical, social and emotional skills of children, Taja said.
